PvP Battlegrounds is a completely separate thing to the alliance wars, which is just 6v6v6, which lore wise has no reason to be faction bound. You can't change your characters faction either. You can't play with the other side in Alliance vs Alliance. go play with the other side in PvP, undermining the realm pride. The best part is just exploring and essentially co-oping the game with friends imo.įirst, they made it so you can just. Maybe try to get a friend or two to play with? It might make the experience more fun. Game isn't perfect, but so far I think it's the "peak" of themepark games, in terms of being a themepark to immerse yourself in. The game was in development before Skyrim, and I agree it feels more Oblivion-esque than Skyrim. The game definitely isn't for everyone, but you lose nothing by trying it out, again. That's how I found most of my guilds too. When you do random dungeons, chat, add the people and all. Talk in zone chat, actually ask for help, etc, but it seems to be a case by case thing. I've never had an issue, but the thing is you have to put yourself out there. With the social interaction though, I can't really agree on that. It's always an instant queue for me but I know some people experience queue bugs. That's fair enough, I've never had issues with queueing for dungeons especially as a tank. The questing, exploration, writing and attention to detail in this game is unmatched in the mmo genre imo. All quests and even the smallest of details are voiced (eg: if an NPC picks up that i'm a vampire the dialogue takes that into account and even that is voiced.) The game also offers you various solutions in quests that have different outcomes.
Do you go to summerset in the elder scrolls games how to#
Helping a wife find her husband only to find out he was eaten by cannibals, then choosing how to handle that etc. Whether it be saving a town from a zombie-like plague. You could drop 30 or so minutes a day and still feel like you accomplished something. Even the smallest sidequest is still its own storyline. Hell you dont even need to ever run a dungeon or trial/raid in your life and theres still hundreds and hundreds of quests to do and explore. ESO is probably one of the most time respecting MMORPGs especially inside the themepark category.

You can drop even a few hours a week and enjoy the lore and story content.Īnd because of level scaling if you were to play with higher level friends etc, you dont need to play catch up too much if at all if its just for coop questing and some PvP.Įven this new content, Summerset, you can jump right into on a new character once it releases.Įdit: Wanted to add to this. Ive spent 1000+ hours in the game and only have two max level characters. You can explore any zone and do any quest any time.
